CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE BOY’S ON OUR FIRST EVER WIN
All the hard work from
you all finally paid off, scoring in the first minute helped but
after that we didn’t look back. I’m so proud of all the players
you showed that if you work together as a team you could win a
lot more games this season.
4 goals from Oliver
Sergeant and 2 from Ryan Patten has taken our goal tally to more
than we scored all of last season. We now have to build on this
win.
Well done again to all
the players, you have made this manager very happy.

At last we finally get
our first goal of the season and a very well taken goal by our
Captain Matthew Brett you could see that goal lift the whole
team and I believe looking at this performance from the boys we
are not far off our first ever league win.

Could and should have
been a different story this game, Merley started the game the
stronger and really should have been three up before Broadstone
got anywhere near our goal unfortunately this is our problem we
do not finish the chances we crate. Broadstone scored the only
goal of the first half with a breakaway goal.
The second half started
with us playing catch up again and with our boys trying so hard
to get that goal back we started to look tired giving Broadstone
more time to play their game and allowing them to score four
more before the end.

Pretty much the same as
the Poole game, lost to a very strong and good side. Now played
two of the three sides I consider to be the strongest in our
league the other being lytchett.

Our first game of the
new season and still looking for our first ever win.
We went into this game
knowing it would be a hard game Poole finishing in third place
last year and us having played Poole town three times last year
and losing all of them.
The game started off
well for Merley with us putting pressure on the Poole defence
early on, but after 10 minutes Poole got into their game and it
wasn’t long before they were 4-0 up, by half time it was 7-0.
The second half Merley
started well again but soon got tired and Poole scored 7 more
before the final whistle.
Well played to all the
boys especially Daniel & Oliver who both played their first ever
league game.
