The 2001-02 Under 12 season saw Simon 'Big Gaffa' Wrixon in control. Assistance again provided by Martin Edge, Pete Livesey and Mike Hennessey. Pete has continued helping even though his son Michael has given up on football.
This season should see more even matches, as the three divisions that make up this age group, are now split by ability, not area. Merley being in the lowest division for the Under 12s.
